A friend’s beautiful picture of Jay.

As a behavior consultant, I believe that positive change grows from compassion, creativity, and genuine partnership. I work alongside individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, not as an authority figure, but as a collaborator—someone who listens deeply, honors their voice, and builds solutions together.

Art is often at the heart of my work. I create with my clients—painting, drawing, or exploring other mediums—not only to encourage self-expression, but to open safe, judgment-free spaces where communication can flourish beyond words. These art-based interventions can gently reveal strengths, foster problem-solving, and bring a sense of playfulness and possibility to the therapeutic process.

Whether through structured behavior support plans or spontaneous moments of shared creativity, my goal is always the same: to help each person feel seen, heard, and empowered. By co-creating strategies that are as unique as the individual, we work toward skills that support independence, emotional well-being, and a more joyful life.
